I read this article which really hit me hard, today.  It drummed up the age-old question, where does motivation come from?  Or, better yet, where does my motivation come from? I realize I am my greatest critic but I also have a very deep and real understanding that I am also my greatest enemy.  I hold myself back from so many things.  I often wonder where people get the drive and passion that take them on a journey through hell and back, to achieve something that’s truly meaningful to them.

You don’t need more motivation. You don’t need to be inspired to action. You don’t need to read any more lists and posts about how you’re not doing enough.” That’s the opening three lines.  But, what really resonated for me was “You need to give yourself permission to be a human being.”  So true.  So, if you feel like I do sometimes, or as the title states, take a read…it’s impressive.  And please, share it.
